70 hectares of parkland

An English-style park designed in the 19th century, where great journeys have brought us Atlas and Lebanese cedars, Sequoia Giganteum, which blend with remarkable subjects, illustrious sessile oaks, hundred-year-old chestnut trees, tortured hornbeams, majestic yews, collections of boxwood and fragons. Sheltered by the cathedral-like foliage, walkers can rest, breathe, dream or write what the plant world whispers to them. At the bend in a clearing, you’ll see a sculpted sequoia, an asteroid from the Prince Gardener – remarkable trees even get noticed in a second life!
