What’s new in 2023
Looking forward to the Paris 2024 Games, Grand Sports Olympics in the Bourdaisière park and forest: races, archery and other sports challenges
Mickaël Brun-Arnaud, author, and Sanoë, illustrator, of volume 3 of “Mémoires de la forêt : l’esprit de l’hiver” published by l’école des loisirs, will be present.
Drawing workshop from 2:30pm to 4pm: “Draw your house in a tree, in the style of Archibald’s bookshop” (Saturday) and “Draw your Étoile de Bellécorce train carriage and let’s make the longest train in the world together” (Sunday).
Signing sessions from 4pm
Treasure hunt on forestry professions, organized by the Office National des Forêts (French National Forestry Office)
Conference “Carpentry: from a trade to a passion” by Brendan Goux, Compagnon du devoir
Plume.s” bird photography exhibition by Olivier Lasbley
Exhibition of wooden nesting boxes created as part of the competition:
make your own nesting box from natural materials and try to win the prize for the most beautiful nesting box!
Drop off your nesting box at the Château ticket office until October 8, and leave with a free ticket to the Festival, where you can admire your work among the others!
If you wish, you can collect your nesting box from October 23 to November 5. (to be specified at the time of deposit!!)
Entertainment for young and old
Storytelling walks in the forest by Jean-François Talon at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Magic shows by Mandragore at 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 5pm
Guided walks in the heart of the Bourdaisière forest with ONF forestry experts
Introduction to the woodworking trades
